French luxury house, CÉLINE, was first created by Céline Vipiana as a made-to-measure children’s shoes business in 1945. It eventually grew to include women’s shoes and accessories. American fashion designer Michael Kors took the reins in 1997 and during his tenure at CÉLINE, he turned the fashion house around with critically acclaimed ready-to-wear line and amazing accessories. After Kor’s departure in 2004, the luxury house starts to lose its buzz until late 2008 when Phoebe Philo was appointed the new Creative Director. She created the CÉLINE Luggage Tote and it became the most sought after IT bag to date.  CÉLINE fashion has been known to be neat and practical and it draws the likes of celebrities like Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Lucy Liu and Kylie Minogue.
